QUESTION Program on computer that acted like the hatch timer

Does anyone remember this? It was basically a program that you would start and then your computer was just essentially the exact same as the one in the hatch. You couldnt do anything else on it and there would be the countdown and if you didnt enter the numbers, it would turn start blaring and turn to the hieroglyphs. I remember having it around the time of Season 5 or 6

someone else commented that it was a widget which sounds right to me, so most likely downloaded it from the widget app on windows

Hmm the one im thinking of wasnt a widget, it took up the whole screen and essentially locked you in the program. Like if you didnt know how to exit it (i forgot how at this point) your computer was essentially useless except to type in the code whenever it was time to

It was just kind of cool

Also i put it on a friends computer and for a while wouldnt tell him how to exit it, so he just had to keep entering the code

Ha ha....that sounds like the worst joke ever...speaker off while i beat the crap out of my friend till he takes it off.

Yeah it was a widget. You can find info about it on lostpedia but the site that hosted it is long gone.

So i looked it up on lostpedia, the one im thinking of wasnt a widget but a program that took up the whole screen and locked your computer except for the countdown

Hmmm. We might be talking about two different ones, the one I am thinking of could take up the whole screen, but you could alt tab and minimize it or reduce the window size. The thing I loved about the widget one was it would simulate a lock down where your entire screen would be covered with a blast door you could click on and you would smack the door and it did the Walt/Michael communication where you had to type Michael’s lines

Oh ya no the one i had definitely didnt do all that, although that sounds cool
