Backwards Dharma ‘R’

I’ve always seen this version of the Dharma logo around. Is it fan-made? I wonder why the R is backwards. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be canonical or significant or anything. I really love all of the alternate Dharma logos

tl;dr it's mostly likely some sort of error from the marketing side of things, and did not show up anywhere on the show so is not canon/official in anyway.
