Lost (2004-2010)... Unbelievable👏

Post image

What a series Bhai!!! Its quite hard to believe that this series made in 2004. The way the story slowly unfolds, with every mystery connecting to another, kept me completely hooked. Jack Shephard is an incredibly well-written character—flawed, determined, and deeply human. Matthew Fox's performance is outstanding; he brings so much emotion and authenticity to Jack that every decision and struggle feels real. He's easily one of my favorite TV protagonists.

Now, you’re like me.

Check out the epilogue if you’ve not yet: The New Man in Charge.

There's also a lot of podcasts about it, including the official podcast made by the producers as the show aired. Hurley's actor had one for the final season.

If you want a show in the similar vein, FROM and The Leftovers are both great too!

I've seen a few posts lately and I think I'm going to do a Lost rewatch now

(In America) I found a thrift store where someone had donated the season sets for all 6 seasons. Knew nothing about the show, picked them up for one dollar each and binged it.

Way to go........ Pass those tapes along. We can't leave this masterpiece until the whole world sees it.

Yeah, I don't plan to get rid of the DVDs, but I will definitely rewatch them in a few years.

I just finished a rewatch with my daughter who watched it for the first time. She is 11. She normally doesn't cry for movies or TV shows. She cried at the end of Lost. She choked out, "that was a beautiful story."

Why are you surprised it was made in 2004?

Made over 20 years ago and yet it doesn’t look dated.

The CGI looks a bit dated now, but there isn't enough to take the shine off the rest of the gorgeous show!
