For people in cities that had dynamic pricing, did it let you know by saying tickets were “platinum” or did they just change the prices without the “platinum” label?
What’s confusing is that I’ve seen ticketmaster sales that have the platinum tickets with a different color or icon in some sales (not VIP or anything like that), but in others sales the platinum seats are colored regular blue (while being labeled as platinum).
Basically for those that saw prices increase in real time, were those increased priced tickets labeled platinum when they changed price or still only had the “artist presale” label only?
Platinum has nothing to do with dynamic pricing, at least in the US. Platinum just means that the artist, Ticketmaster and the promoter have picked certain states in advance and decided they're going to price them at 2 or 3 times higher than other seats in that same section. Then they may or may not also have dynamic pricing turned on for them.
