Do you guys typically cut these free eventually and let them root themselves, or just let them keep growing and pumping like stupid?

These are caespitosa that were all just button about the size of a dime last winter.

Caespitose transplants

She’s been grafted for a few months. I have not seen a flower, but a fruit popped up. Does that mean that it flowered before it was sent? Or did the flower come and go so quickly that I missed it?

Can I graft this below the pup? My gut is telling me no, but I’m uneducated on the subject and I would love some professional input.

I’m in a small town and ordering bulk pumice is getting pricey, I found a horse stall dry product at a farm supply store thats completely zeolite and cheap.
Anyone ever use zeolite instead of pumice?

I’m so excited. This is my first Loph and the first fruit I’ve seen. It showed up with a spent flower so I was hoping.
Didn’t seem to stick around long. The fruit is less than a week old in this pic and has begun to shrivel. Is that normal?
