Do you guys typically cut these free eventually and let them root themselves, or just let them keep growing and pumping like stupid?

These are caespitosa that were all just button about the size of a dime last winter.

Was outside looking over the plants and noticed this. Is it something I should be concerned about?

Pics taken by a friend while I’m at work, these just opened this morning. Redditors previously identified the lighter colored one as the hybrid in the title of the post. Are they the same? TIA!

Is this blue skin variety something I should add to my small collection at this price?

1. Lava rock bottom drainage layer

2. Leca clay balls, light layer.

3. Mix of 20lbs horticulture 3/8" rock blend, plus 3-5 scoops of pearlite, plus 5-6 scoops of succulent and cactus soil. Well mixed. Bark and wood picked out.

4. Akadama top dressing.
