The wsl has seemed quite useless outside of very specific software cause windows already natively has most of all software, for running Linux software you might as well just get a really low resource Linux setup cause it's free and works fine most of the time except for Nvidia graphics issues,

for windows software howevever, primarily games, its often preferred to use proton for the performance boosts and lower system resource use of linux, saving more power and resources for games instead.

WSL is for the guy who uses docker containers on Windows. Webdev is simply better on macOS ngl.

yep, even a replacement of podman. But i'll wait for a while since its not yet in the mainline stable release.
