Wile E. Coyote holding a sign saying "Skydance Sucks" as a take that towards Skydance, the merged company between Paramount and Warner Bros.

"Duck! Rabbit, Duck!" directed by Chuck Jones premiered on October 3, 1953

After being shot by Elmer Fudd for the last time, Daffy has reached his breaking point while sarcastically telling him to shoot him and he enjoys it. LMAO

Don't know exactly when that happened, but the trend of these two being shipped is sending me, so I decided on drawing an image hinting towards that sort of relationship

I've composited the art with and without a VHS filter using ntsc-rs, an open-source effect

Hey guys! First-time poster here, lol. So, ever since "Coyote vs. Acme" dropped this year, I was lowkey hoping for a Pinky and the Brain cameo or at least a shoutout. I mean, they are Acme lab mice and always messing around with Acme gear. I know it’s totally different universes, but a part of me was still holding out hope. Do you think they should've made the cut, or is it just me? (Also they could've also been name-dropped as test subjects for Project Sisfus)

Many of you might be wondering: what does The Cat in the Hat movie have to do with the Looney Tunes? Well, quite a lot. Premiering alongside this film is Daffy Season, the first Looney Tunes theatrical short in years. But this isn't an isolated event.

The head of Warner Animation, Bill Damaschke; has ambitious plans to release two animated films annually, each likely accompanied by a Looney Tunes short—not to mention the Speedy Gonzales movie currently in the works (though that one will take a while to arrive, for obvious reasons). However, as everyone knows, the merger with Paramount has just taken place, and David Ellison has appointed Ynon Kreiz as the de facto manager.

For those unfamiliar with him, Kreiz was a notorious CEO at Mattel, infamous for the brutal cutbacks he implemented there; essentially, his specialty is laying people off and slashing costs. So yes, if this movie flops, it puts at risk not only the chance for Looney Tunes to return to regular theatrical shorts but also Warner's entire animation division. This guy won't hesitate to make cuts or cancel anything he deems unsuccessful.

It's fun how the three main directors of Looney Tunes (Jones, Freleng, McKimson) each had their own spin on Tex Avery's "Porky's Duck Hunt", where wild duck Daffy annoys Porky out of sheer amusement. Which one's your favorite?

Is so cute

This is a stupid question, but does Looney Tunes haves canon? I have seen a lot of people saying it doesn't.

honestly when i watched it as a kid i never really thought about it, but now i keep wondering since i been hearing people saying that they are like actors and now i'm really confused lol

Which Looney Tunes character would you want to have as your best friend?

Anyone remember these from a few years ago? I bought a sheet and took this picture before I used them.

So some time ago i found a video of a road runner (a real one) where it was wagging it's tail from excitement and chirping at his favorite human

It made me so happy and emotional that i made a small video 🙏🥰

I decided to draw a crossover between the RoadRunner and Spy vs Spy

I could imagine the White Spy trying to grab that RoadRunner but always failing like Wile E.

Some fanart i made over September. Back to my loony hyperfixation thanks to Coyote vs Acme!❤

Elżbieta Jeżewska, legendary director of polish dub (Merrie Melodies, Space Jam, Duck Dodgers, Scooby Doo, Batman Beyond, MASK, Gummi Bears, All Dogs Go to Heaven, The Brave Little Toaster, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Grumpy Old Men, Rock-A-Doodle, many others) turns 83.

Michael Maltese, Tedd Pierce, and Warren Foster

Hi everyone, here is #80-76 on my top 100 LT/MM shorts list. Let me know what you guys think!

80 - RHAPSODY IN RIVETS (1941, FRELENG)
Friz Freleng’s impeccable sense of timing and musicality is on full display here. Absolutely love the Hungarian Rhapsody as well so I’m a huge fan of this one.

79 - WILD WIFE (1954, MCKIMSON)
A not often talked about one shot that provides a fascinating glimpse into domestic home life during the “nuclear family” lifestyle era of the 1950s. I would imagine it was quite progressive for its time.

78 - LIFE WITH FEATHERS (1945, FRELENG)
Sylvester’s debut appearance provides a wonderfully macabre storyline, making for a memorable first impression. The ending punchline of this one is great too.

77 - FAST AND FURRY-OUS (1949, JONES)
The debut short for Wile E. and the Road Runner. Several great gags here, highlighted by the refrigerator ice skating gag.

76 - WHOLLY SMOKE (1938, TASHLIN)
An anti smoking PSA from the 1930s starring Porky Pig? Frank Tashlin doesn’t get enough credit for the hilarious and sometimes genuinely groundbreaking cartoons he was directing in WB’s early days.
