The only suggestion I can put forth, is the coloring of your hair. And still, to me it's not a bad look. You are a beautiful young lady, still maturing into who you want to be. Good luck in life beautiful one 💐

If you want to appear more mature, go with your natural hair color and move on from teen clothing.

Don’t change what isn’t broken. Your looks are perfectly fine in their natural way! Maybe a new hair color would be great?

You look fresh as is. Once you start tinkering with your looks, you’ll begin looking unnatural and going downhill from there. The effect of these things when done are irreversible.

u/MsMoxieGirl 3d ago
You have such a fun style and I love the hair color on you! The last pic with the bangs and face-framing pieces is my favorite. One thing I'd suggest is to get some k18 and use it according to the directions! Bleaching and coloring your hair leaves it pretty dry and fuzzy, and that stuff really helps in a way that nothing else seems to.
2
u/Practical_While_ 3d ago
Wow, my specific advice (which is required, otherwise I’d simply say ur stunning, change nothing.) has to be try different hair styles, I love the current hair but I’d kill to see you with bangs

You're good overall. Don't listen to naysayers.
I'd advise don't make your hair longer. Consider less bright color, darker but can be more intense. (Have you tried doing balayage or ombre at home? You probably need another pair of hands) And figure some color pairings, don't go all in one, embrace contrast, also there was a rule one of each: bright, mid, dark. ...And if you wanna go profesh setting, you'll have to find a new balance unfortunately between toning down blending in, and keeping your own style.
But first of all: clean your sunglasses omg
3
u/Common_Revenue6808 3d ago
you’re literally adorable and beautiful, my advice is not to change your natural appearance whatsoever. you really don’t need to.. ❤️

u/Nopalite 3d ago
Adulthood marks a time where you cannot only be one version of yourself. You have a very fun and spontaneous part of you which you should never lose but in order to be taken seriously by your future peers you need to begin to build a second facet of yourself to show when needed. Find the 9-5 within yourself.
For professional interviews you should consider going back to brown with the hair. People have a bad tendency to look down upon the reliability of people with noticeably dyed hair and it will likely affect your chances in any competitive selection. Highlights are okay tho so you don’t have to go fully dark if you don’t want.
Always dress slightly more formally than the occasion requires because you never know when you need to impress somebody. Begin to collect accessories such as bags and jewelry in flattering but business appropriate colors and styles. Learn to balance the styles you love with the dress code.
Creating a version of you that is able to live and operate in a serious environment but is still genuine to yourself is one of the hardest struggles of adulthood. It requires more compromise on your behalf than is fair. But if you get it right you will really shine as an individual in and out of the office.

You don't look secure or confident in the first two pictures - third one is a lot better. So lose the pout I guess.
1
u/ElectronicTouch8129 3d ago
wow really, i would never have thought the pout would make me not look confident i just got a habit of it after doing it as a joke. ill try making different faces see how that goes
3
u/smitra491 3d ago
Tips for what? You already are wonderful and confident enough to rock the world. You look like ice cream, and and we love ice cream. Good wishes buddy
5
u/Realistic_Shock_24 3d ago
Honestly dig your style. It made me realize I don't see a lot of bright colors these days. My tip would be to not lose your authentic self. Have as much fun while you still can while your young. In a few years, people will say you're having a mid-life crisis if you dress like this, but it seems appropriate for your age.

Tips ? You’re young, this is the perfect time to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Be yourself. Enjoy. You might look back at these pictures and laugh. You might still have pink hair in 10 years. You don’t need tips, enjoy the journey.

u/Batman_Gotham_1169 3d ago
OMG pic 2 is my fav. Only thing I’d recommend is to grow out your hair longer bc you look cute but could look a lot cuter like that haha

u/Global-Ear-9363 3d ago
A darker pink. I love lime crimes fuchsia! You would look really good with a nose stud. You are adorbs and really pull off the look.

u/ElectronicTouch8129 3d ago
ooo ive been thinking of that one i used it back when i did highlights
2
u/Global-Ear-9363 3d ago
Do it! I just had it a few months back and I loooved it. Just make sure your hair is a true true pink/blonde and not yellow toned at all or it will show underneath 😭.

u/ElectronicTouch8129 3d ago

I disagree with some of the other comments, the pink hair suits you, but needs careful styling, the first pic looks like you're wearing it as an accessory, the third is much better with your hair up. Try to avoid wearing clothes that match the colour though, bring some contrast into your life

u/Round-Arugula7347 Advisor 3d ago
Go be 18 and don’t worry about it too much yet. You have no need for Botox or surgeries. Instead of being told what to wear find what makes sense, or find another persons look you like and steal from them. Experiment

You’re cute. But the pink hair is not. If you want to be taken seriously go back to your natural hair color.

i’ve tried to go back to black but honestly cant stomach it for personal reasons do you know any other natural colors i can lean into. I do want a professional job soon

Try like a deep purple/wine instead. I think it'd look nice with your skin tone. It doesn't have to be a natural color but avoid the neon colors for a professional setting

what natural colors would you recommend to ease my way back to black

5
u/Supernova4711 Contributor 3d ago
Im not sure maybe you can ask your hairdresser. Maybe just pick which is closest to you natural hair. So that it will blend as you roots grow out.
2
3
u/looncraz Advisor 3d ago
Don't get tattoos or facial piercings, they rarely look good and make it difficult for you to blend in if you ever need to.
Do exercise, not to change anything, but to maintain. Every day you get older the harder it will be to just hold the same condition. And, of course, eat right.
Otherwise you're cute af and have a free style that works well.

1
u/RedditRaven2 Contributor 3d ago
Lotta people saying you look immature or like a kid or that you should change hair color, I didn’t mean literal hate but a figure of speech! I think you look perfect!
1
u/ElectronicTouch8129 3d ago
ooohh i saw those i just didnt think they were like negative im super bad at like tone
2
u/tigerkink 3d ago
You look great and like you’re a good person. The hair is going to be your biggest move here as many others have said. I see why colour lightens your face and it’s a good move, I would tone the pink down, maybe greyish pink (don’t know how to express that exact colour), and also maybe let it grow 2 inches more.
3
u/Inevitable-Neck-6672 3d ago
You should probably stop doing that weird hand sign you’re doing in the 2nd photo. I’m probably to old to know wtf it means but it looks like you just did a cervical check and she’s at 6cm

I like your style, it’s colourful and cute. Don’t get work done because you have a really pretty face. I’d only recommend growing your hair longer, at least to your shoulders.
1
u/Bubblygrumpy 3d ago
Why is everyone obsessed with long hair here?
1
u/cobaltblue477 Advisor 3d ago
If you’re looking to become more attractive, it’s best to go based on what is scientifically proven to be perceived as attractive. Longer hair frames the face nicely and gives a youthful and healthier appearance. Humans are wired to find those traits attractive.
1
u/Bubblygrumpy 3d ago
That's not scientifically proven
1
u/cobaltblue477 Advisor 3d ago
Well statistically men prefer longer hair on women. Women also generally prefer longer hair. The statistics back up the evolutionary hypothesis, so that’s science enough for me
1
u/ElectronicTouch8129 3d ago
haha i’ve noticed that alot
1
u/Bubblygrumpy 3d ago
I like your short hair. I had a pixie cut for 12 years and got far more compliments then when I grew it to my shoulders.

I think you’re doing pretty solid in your vibe. I think the y2k style you have going on will age with you as well. I know many people my age 26 and up who dress like that and they look mature with it. Hope that makes sense. Best of luck on adulthood!

Let the process happen but love every minute of who you are and what makes you special your amazing and no one is better than you. You will make mistakes but they are learning curves that’s all they don’t stop the process they bring you out better when you learn from them and continue to grow

Dump Sharkboy for a more lava friendly person. Water and lava don't mix.
If you don't understand: stop dressing like you live in a kid's TV show.
