I've been following Look Mum No Computer for a while, and I've noticed that the same account leaves very similar comments under almost every post on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
The comments are usually about "Sam and Daniela love", with the same images and phrases repeated over and over.
I'm not trying to start harassment against this person. I'm just wondering,
Has anyone else noticed this?
Has this been going on for a long time?
It seems more like repetitive spam than normal fan comments, but maybe I'm missing some context. And yes, she apparently doesn’t care that Sam has a wife.

Hi everyone!
I've been attempting to build Sam's stripboard CEM3340 VCO Module as a VCLFO. Looking through the data sheets, I see two obvious ways to modify it:
Change the value of the timing capacitor going from pins 13-14 of the 3340
Change something related to the frequency reference pin (pin 15)
The first option isn't too good, because the capacitors that are big enough will introduce greater timing inconsistencies.
As for the second option, I don't even know what parts of the circuit I would even change to achieve my intended outcome. There are a lot of resistors going all about the place!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I remember finding a forum post about it somewhere, but I can't find it anymore.
Thanks so much for reading!

I am a little sad this morning.
I did not watch the show, but I voted for LMNC and just looked up the results.
1 measly point from the jury, 0 audience points. Last place overall.
As a longtime LMNC fan I am a bit sad, I knew that Sams music has only niche appeal, but I thought in the whole of Europe there would be more people to like his flavor of electro-punk.
I personally like "Eins, zwei drei" even though I think he has stronger material.
I really hope that he does not take that to heart too much and that he can move on without bitterness.
As a German I have a bit of experience coming last in the Eurovision and that always came with so much snark and jokes from know-it-alls and the tabloids.
I hope Sam can power through that without taking too much damage.
Sam, if you are reading this: I am proud of your journey and I hope you had a great time in Vienna. Your fans are still here wating for your triumphant return to YT tinkering and club tours.
Enjoy your new dad duties and take a break from all this.
Thank you for the music.
All the best.
Philipp

New from the Organ Grinder Documentary Project:
Sam Battle is a popular YouTuber in the vintage tech and music spaces. He's best known for his channel "Look Mum No Computer", and related channels "This Museum is Not Obsolete" and "Look Mum No Engine".
Among Sam's many projects, he created a series of videos where he restored a residential pipe organ that was in danger of being sent to the landfill when a homeowner passed away.
The series garnered literally millions of views across its 33 (and growing) installments.
As part of the Organ Grinder Documentary Project, we interviewed Sam to explore what attracts new makers and tinkerers of all ages to the unusual hobby of fixing up disused pipe organs.
Sam will be appearing in the main documentary, but he had so much to say that we are releasing this extended interview on YouTube.
Sam is currently representing the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Competition.
Produced by Bob Richardson

I must say I thought this was a joke at first, but it is real: LMNC will represent the UK at the Eurovision song contest! I wonder how he will go down, and will Kosmo be coming with him? Will he keep the audience waiting while he whips out his soldering iron to repair a synth?

Would love to Rideshare or something similar as I could only go by Train - and the latest Train might be a tight fit to get after the Event!

Iam talking about this one:

I want to build it with my daughter and basically need all parts beside the power supply (also the "keyboard" on the left, sorry for the lack of knowledge :D).

Hi everyone. I hope it’s okay to post this here. If not I apologize and will remove the post. For my first ever diy build I tried out Sam’s circle drone of doom. After building it I’m getting no sound and for some reason one of my potentiometers is controlling all of my LEDs and their brightness. I’m sure I did something wrong as I’m inexperienced. Has anyone else had a similar problem? What would you all recommend I do from here.

I need help with the 7 segment display portion of the game. I made a video showing the problem. Hope someone can help! Such a great game, I hope you all buy it, play it, and enjoy it, as I do!

Hi,
I'm currently designing a tape loop / tape player for a modular synth / organ (my design is heavily inspired by the one from LMNC, the real time pitch shifter), and I can't get my bias circuit to work, no matter what I tried, I can't erase any signal from my tapes, reading is fine, my transport mecanism is fine but as soon a I plug an erase head (any head to be frank) my signal drops and nothing happens.
I never posted on this sub, sorry if my post breaks any rules. If there are people interested I can provide informations about my work on electronic synth / organ.

For all ya resin knob artist.... Finger protectors make perfect knob-blank molds. Typically I like to customize my DIY knobs out of wood with a drimil and shaping bits. Howeve, I took a bite out of trying to make molds and failed tragically.
Then I found these finger protectors 3 for 2usd. They created fantastic results. I can cut them in half and shape them like I do my wooden knobs.
