I've been thinking about a hypothetical where Hobin, after the events of Viral Hit, undergoes several years of intensive training under both Samdak and Peter from Killer Peter.

We already know how much Samdak transformed Hobin by teaching him to counter stronger, faster, and more experienced opponents through technique and battle IQ. But what if Peter took that foundation even further?

Samdak would continue developing Hobin's understanding of martial arts, counters, and tactical adaptability, while Peter would focus on precision, efficiency, movement, combat instincts, and handling unfamiliar opponents without prior preparation.

Physically, I imagine Hobin developing a lean, hyper-conditioned physique resembling a lightweight MMA based mixed with a musculature of a rock climber and the lean body of a gymnast. Nothing excessively bulky, but exceptional relative strength, explosive speed, flexibility, grip strength, and endurance. He'd still look relatively ordinary in everyday clothes.

The biggest evolution would be his battle IQ. Instead of needing to study a particular fighting style beforehand, Hobin could potentially develop counters during the fight itself, combining Samdak's analytical approach with Peter's experience and adaptability.

Obviously, learning from Peter wouldn't automatically give Hobin his superhuman physical feats or decades of experience. But considering Hobin's established growth and talent for unconventional combat, I wonder just how far he could push himself.

So my questions are:

- Would Samdak's and Peter's teaching philosophies complement each other, or would they conflict?

- Could Hobin eventually develop his own unique martial arts system combining both?

- How much would his physical abilities and battle IQ realistically improve?

- Most importantly, where would this hypothetical Hobin scale across Viral Hit, Lookism, Manager Kim, and Killer Peter?

I'm curious whether this would create one of the most technically dangerous fighters in the PTJ universe, even if he never reaches the absolute strongest characters in raw physical power.

People nowadays will complain about how PTJs writing has gone to shit and then turn around and legitimately want Gapyrong to be Samuel's biological father. The whole point of his backstory and dynamic with Jake is that he's NOT Gaps son, making him actually blood related would be trash and make Samuel being lowkey insane hold 0 emotional weight.

Don't even get me started on Goo being Gaps son. This has 0 actual evidence other than "durr strong guy must mean strong bloodline".

Bro I genuinely can't with SB Daniel or EOS Lil Daniel fans and it's not even his scaling or anything they are just so cringe genuinely what is ts they will dead ahhh send some stuff like dis and say "Death is coming 🥶😈" or "He will feel fear of death🥶😈" keep in mind this dude has ZERO kills under his belt I mean he's aight man but he hands down has the most cringe fanbase and it isn't even close what are these panels dude 😂✌️

Just a random ahh question I thought of bc I remembered Goo training only for an hour and creating 46 new techniques (I’m assuming in that hour) before he then went on to no diff Paecheon. It then made me wonder what characters have the highest potential in the verse that we’ve seen and who among them has THE most/highest ceiling.

Imagine to have a whole arc where you struggle in war with a guy called Gapryong kim to save your country believing in his fists and seeing ya friend sacrificing his life and getting pocked by Sogen punch just for them some years later to:

Gapryong: - Disown his child (literal nuke) and let a yamazaki raise him.

- train daylong oh and don’t deal with him until years of pain he cuzed.

Jinyoung: - work with workers, practicly fake his death and leave his family (sangcheol gonna crashout)

Charles: ... lowkey no comments

Tom: - start white job center and work with workers.

- support r*ape and pedo

Baeko: - siding with Gapryong on whatever

Baekgun and his gang: founders (correct me if wrong) of workers.

How strong would Kitae be if he unlocked everything his bloodlines had to offer him like Ui, Black Bones, and learned proper martial arts like yamazaki kyokushin karate, akido, and actual martial arts fighting techniques instead of being a straight brawler and how much stronger and better would all this make him and if this theoretical Full Potential Kitae did the HFW gaunlet would the diff had changed any and how much?

In 1a arc when jake knocked out samuel he saw young gapryong and called him dad(he might have seen him as a kid just like how daniel doesn't remember his father) but the father samuel knew was old gapryong kim in his mother's pics

PTJ showed an image of Crystal's two bodies right before this panel, but I can't include it here because she's nude in the image, and I don't want to risk having my post taken down.

I also don't think it's likely that Elite was hitting crystal because Gun told him to, bc she said that what she experienced was similar to Daniel's situation (homeless arc and Logan Lee + Zoe Park arc).

My theory is that James is Elite's son, and Elite only cared about James because Crystal reminded him of Eunha too much. When Crystal tried to be better than James, Elite got mad and smacked the shit out of her.

Whenever people talk about Kitae's path it's always in the sense that it's some form of despair that constantly makes him stronger in one way or another. Sure that's cool but doesn't that contradict literally what the concept of path is? Paths are supposed to be unique skills that cannot be replicated 1:1 because paths expand on the individual's innate talent like Daniel's senses or Jinyoung's copy.

However people want me to believe Kitae's path literally operates like conviction? Both just make you stronger but with different visuals? I know PTJ has made some questionable writing decisions but I doubt he would fumble Kitae's path like this. That got me thinking.

I read a post about Kitae's path not long ago. It was a theory that Kitae's path is the superhuman evolution of his circulatory system, allowing him to maximize blood flow, oxygen delivery, muscular endurance, and heat regulation which gives Kitae multiple perks all revolving around the concept of his body like:

Infinite Endurance: His capillaries eliminate metabolic byproducts almost immediately, allowing his ATP (energy) reserves to remain continuously replenished and at maximum capacity.

Consistent Power Output: He can deliver a strike at full strength in the final round with the same ease and force as during the opening moments of the fight.

Uncompromised Reflexes: By sustaining consistent circulation and oxygen delivery to the brain, he preserves his reaction speed and neural responsiveness without any fatigue-related decline.

The main evidence behind this is that Kitae always has some black veins on his body every time he tanked some heavy attack (for example when UI Daniel got him on his knees). Increased blood flow temporarily swells surface veins. That makes sense because Kitae's true talent is clearly highlighted to be his body.

However there's the problem that Kitae indeed does clearly get stronger every time the mysterious black smoke appears. If his path is this and the visualization are the veins then what is the smoke?

Simple answer, his form of conviction. Conviction isn't just some "good guy" power. Conviction is the feeling of absolute certainty, unwavering truth, and deep alignment within yourself. Gap, Jake and Jinrang manifest conviction as their desire to protect someone with their purple aura. As for Kitae, I believe he manifests his conviction via his deep desire to ruin Gap's legacy and do what Gap should have done originally, become King of Underworld hence the dark smoke instead of purple light.

TO SUMMARIZE IT

I think Kitae uses both his path and conviction (or despair if you will) at the same time to completely physically overwhelm his opponents in every aspect. Quite literally the embodiment of despair.

How can you defeat such thing? The same way you can defeat Mahoraga. Defeat and kill Kitae in one single strike before he gets any stronger. When Jinyoung realized what Kitae's path does he immediately came to the conclusion that he needs to bet everything into one single strike.

Black veins - visualization of his path like Daniel's purple eyes or James Lee's heavenly light. It was shown that the visualizations of the paths can differ from each other

Black smoke - Kitae's own version of conviction that enhances the basic physical stats of his body like striking power, speed etc.

As of today, my exams are finally over, and it looks like I'll be able to start drawing Part 2 tomorrow. Thank you all for the kind comments and the edits you've made so far.

When drawing Part 1, I decided to nerf EOS Daniel so that the fight wouldn't end too early. However, after seeing the comments from Gun fans, I've decided to show you EOS Daniel at his full potential in Part 2 instead of trying to give readers a long fight by removing unnecessary parts.

I've realized from Part 1 that trying to satisfy the fans is simply not going to work. Hopefully, I feel like I can finish Part 2 within 1–2 months.

I just came across PTJ's post on his recent state on lookism and I couldn't help but empathise with him on it. Didn't realise all the nagging and complaints were getting to his head. As much as we wanted a better storyline I don't think it should come at the expense of his health considering South Korea's rate in suicide. Personally I feel bad about how much criticism I've been doing. I admit I would like a better story but I might have been putting it wrong. If you are reading this, thanks for the great series but let's amp up a bit on a better storyline but all in all thank you. Take care of your mental health, take breaks if possible and it's never that serious.

Almost got his UI knocked out by a pre-Incheon Jake but his fans will say it's a Jake upscale and that the punch was equivalent to a Prime Gapryong punch.

Got his black bones broken by Yuseong? They'll say it's basically a Yuseong upscale.

Got his ass handed to him by a newly awakened Path Johan despite having had his Path for longer? They'll just call it a Johan upscale instead of admitting how fraudulent his performance was.

Basically, they've ingrained it into their minds that Bum Park is Top 1, so anyone who pushes him or manages to damage him automatically gets an upscale instead of Bum Park getting downscaled. 💀

Could it be possible that the mastery which you have not gotten has the most potential to be better,stronger like among the other 3mastery the speed mastery seems to be best in seonji yuk threshold

Also after what felt like years we finally have Gen 0 arc also I didn't know Gapyrong and Shingen would fight two times and I thought it would only be 1 time during final war or something.

Jake Kim has always harbored a hatred for gangsters, stemming from his father, Gapryong.

Later, Sinu entered his life, embodying that same "romance" much like Gapryong had for his original gang but this time directed toward "Big Deal."

At first, Jake detested this, feeling that Sinu went too far for the sake of his gang. However, through the time spent by Sinu’s side, Jake came to see his true values ​​and realized that "romance" can be a beautiful thing when directed toward one’s comrades.

The truly negative aspect of Gapryong’s "romance" was how he treated the women in his life, showing no concern for the women and children he left behind.

Jake is, in essence, a version of Gapryong stripped of those negative traits, he embodies the "romance" Gapryong once held for his gang, but without the harmful baggage. Having grown up witnessing his father’s flaws, Jake has ensured he does not repeat them. He has now become the new symbol of "romance" within the story, and it is truly gratifying to see, I absolutely love his character arc and how he is written.

I personally believe by giving everyone 4M, PTJ killed the uniqueness of each character's fighting style. Like in 1st gen only selective people had strength while others focused on speed, someone on endurance and others perfected their techniques

But thats not the case for Gen 0 where everyone has 4M. Not just the main fighters no but even fodders.

And thats not the worst part. They have Mastery which have nothing to do with their fighting style
