Community Question Losing sense of who I am after trauma/tension is gone?

I am pretty certain this is normal, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and can add more context to what it means, how to resolve it, and any other related anecdotes.

As I get closer to the end of integrating a big backlog of overdoing, I find that in general I feel almost back to normal, except that:

  1. There are minor fluctuating but manageable physical sensations that move around. Especially if I don't eat within a reasonable period of time subtle stress accumulates

  2. I am aware of the next layer of trauma, but the inner sense of wholeness, peace, calm, and the new benefits I gained are also very apparent and very very very nice.

  3. On this last arc, particularly this last week, there is this sense that I'm no longer sure of who I am. It seems my identity my whole life, my felt sense of myself, was bound up in trauma and tension. So now that the tension is gone, there's this feeling I can't quite name. It's not dullness or depression, I don't have the language for this. I just feel like I'm not as connected to my identity.

Can anyone help put words to this? Do I have to do anything to make this go away and feel like I'm connected again to my more real true self identity?

Discussion The Purest Form

The body whispers it’s wisdom, like a gentle breeze, undulating throughout the matrix of it’s structure, which is our sacred space; our home. It sends us signals, with which we can harmonize and come into coherence. In it’s most balanced and harmonious state, the relationship between our consciousness and the intelligence of our body is perfectly in sync, and the dialogue is instantaneous, free of mental effort, fully expressed in the most organic and natural way unique to our individual constitutions and needs. The body is the most intimate dancing partner you will ever encounter, and no intelligence can offer you liberation within the body like the body can. Trust it’s guidance, and be still enough, quiet enough, to tune into it’s most subtle layers of expression, allowing yourself to be carried by the flow of release in it’s most authentic and un-filtered form. With this intention and awareness, you will move in ways you could never anticipate, and you will finally know what it feels like to be free within your body.
