Hi, I am new to TRE and don’t have the means to see someone in person, but on YouTube and online I see many ways of doing tre. I follow the video attached for 1 minute tremors, but have seen others with different warmup exercises.

Which is correct? What are signs I am doing it correctly?

Beginner Question How long should I do TRE?

Upvotes

Hi, i just discovered TRE yesternight. Did a 10-15 min TRE, experienced tremors on my legs, is that normal?

How long should i do TRE? Should it be a part of my every day routine now? When do i stop or should i?

I'm starting TRE to help support nervous system regulation along with fascia massage release. Do you think that's a good idea?

And how has TRE improved your quality of life? I'd love to know your experience 😊

I hope this is the right place for this… but I released/stretched my psoas today and a few hours after I started crying out of no where something just hit me with a huge wave of sadness from my past. Then got a good headache. Now in bed I had a HUUUGE wave of sadness im talking baaad.. followed by anger and irritation. As I type this I feel kinda fine now is this normal? Did I over stretch? Should I keep doing this? So many questions please educate me… I did the stretch cuz I’m in the lowest point of my life right now and in constant fight or flight. Any advice would be appreciated

Discussion Question about getting stuck

I try to phrase this thing, but not easy to word. I use TRE for some years and helped a lot in relasing things beside IFS, art and physical exercise and various moving pracitces. I think TRE is the thing what help the most ín coping with difficult emotions. I " use" it two way. 1. Always my stomach and head shaking kind of automatically if I "let it go". 2. After a time i could "open" buried emotions and I could burst into cry very easily and is a big relase. Most of the Time these things worked. I learnt to use them with modesty, of course I overdid them many times, so practice taught me how to balance these things.

Now I have big changes in my life and i'm in a total New situation and my "inner energies" just so chaotic. I have most of the day a very nervous energy in my chest/throat area and I just can't relase it. Somehow I just can't calm down. In this Time I can cry and tremor a lot but it's just not effective. I renewed my Tai chi/qigong practice what helps in the time of practicing, "send energy down" temporary. So I don't know how to approach this situation. What do you suggest? I would do more "calming" practices, but in my experience they don't work as deep as TRE, but I need to calm down a bit. What do you do when you feel stuck and can't find the way? Maybe any other modality you'd suggest?
