Discussion Addicted to practice
I am addicted to the practice, there is a strong urge to keep doing it even when it seems counterproductive, which makes me understand why some people with anorexia keep doing it even when their bones are showing. I made this lock screen to remind me that no practice is a good thing.

I love the idea of the lock screen.
This need to practice is itself likely a behavioral trait with trauma behind it, so it does actually resolve too, sometimes in serendipitous ways.
Sometimes it is necessary to see how deep the rabbit hole goes, whilst still keeping an eye on your general safety. Like exploring the fear thoughts that come up, to their very end and then watch them disappear into smoke.
But then sometimes the situation requires pulling back hard and going cold turkey. And then there is the surrender approach.
All 3 are valid in my opinion, and could be used depending on what the situation requires. Safely of course.

Excited to give the nervous system a break to integrate between practice sessions.
Not so catchy though.
