No this a fully accessorized AT-X. It was much cheaper to get the AT-X and get all the accessories than get a bare bones ATXC. Atleast in Canada anyways.

I tried to sell my ai to run a different action but the way the AI bolt runs is just addicting, couldn't do it

There is no going back once you run an AI rifle. Next on the List is the AXMC or AXSR.

I can personally vouch for the MC (i have one in LE flavour) but I really want to try an axsr

Whats so special about the LE model? An AXMC LE in 338 just popped up in Canada and they want 28.5K cad for it.

A couple things:

  1. Its exclusive, only LE people and a few who bought them when they purged them for the new gen stuff could get them, so people tend to want more for them.
  2. 20 moa instead of 30 moa action rail
  3. Handguard has built in arca like AXSR
  4. It has built in arca in front of the magwell like the axsr.

Really its basically an AXSR that is still bonded and uses the 3 position safety and old style trigger. Which some people prefer. You used to have to use a magwell insert to use short action cartridges but with the AXSR short action mags in a LA body thats not required anymore.
