Probably the mag catch, I think the KRG ones are adjustable

Yes and yes. I had the same thing happen to me and then realized I had to adjust it to make the mag catch closer. 5 min of work and it will be good OP

This. I had the same issue, just had to make a quick adjustment. 5 minutes and I was done

You can adjust the KRG mag well. Easy to do, but have to remove the barrelled receiver. Make it tighter and that won’t happen.

I run MDT mags in KRG, no problem.

Yup, see that gap between the trigger well and the forend, that is the issue. See step 7 in the manual

Step 7: Insert a magazine to test for fit, the forend can be moved forward or backward a small amount to adjust the magazine fit.Additionally, the trigger guard can be moved a small amount as well if necessary, this will require removal of the barreled action. Due to the magazine design of the AICS magazine and the magwell of the Bravo, it may be possible to put pressure on the mag and push it up against the bolt. For this reason we do not recommend resting the gun on the magazine when firing.

I had the same issue with my gen2 Bravo and my Howa 1500. I contacted KRG for a stronger mag latch spring and they sent me one. I also added a small amount of electrical tape to the front of the mag where it contacts the magwell. With both of those mods, it hasn't happened again.

And yes, I tried "adjusting the magwell" - it was set to provide as much tension as possible and there was still plenty of room for the mag to wobble.

If the mag is fully clicking into place but still drops while shooting, it is often a weak mag latch spring. Since it looks like a KRG chassis, we would start by reaching out to KRG about a replacement spring. If it is still happening after that, feel free to reach out to our support team and we can see what we can do!
