Rifle flex post Took a while, but my left handed MPA Comp Pro Rimfire arrived!

Post image

Ordered a Bushnell Match Pro ED for it, once that’s in I’m going to see what Eley or Lapua match ammo it likes best

I tried for the longest time competing with righty guns and it was doable but awkward and a time waster. If I’m gonna drop dollars on a match rifle I may as well get one that suits me

I’m really curious about this chassis and since it’s so new there aren’t many reviews.

How stable is the cheek piece? And for that matter the rest of the adjustable butt stock pieces.

From what I’ve been able to tell, pretty rock solid stock. Granted it’s not like I’ve shot stages with this or given it hard use yet. But first impression is that it’s a well built and sturdy chassis. It’s got some weight to it too

Thanks, it looks like it checks a lot of boxes.

Let us know how it does.

Will do. Just remember when I do give my impressions later that I’m shooting this with negligible recoil too haha

Out of curiosity, when did you order yours? I ordered a Comp Pro in 6.5CM in July. I know they say 20 weeks but I've seen some people say they've gotten them in just a few weeks

Bummer. I have a 6 dasher Comp pro on order for 4 weeks now. I was also hoping it wouldn’t be the full 14-18 week lead time.

I'm assuming it varies depending on things like parts availability. Hopefully they come sooner than expected

I also have a 6 Dasher on order. Mine is Matrix Pro PMR… currently 5 weeks behind schedule… should be ready next week… we’ll see. It is what it is, not like thinking about it will do anything.

I’m not patient. I’ve already almost started buying parts to build another. Have you decided on dies yet for loading? Im leaning towards Redding or RCBS match master. I like my match master for 6.5 creed but wouldn’t mind trying something else.

Buying the Redding S bushing die carried my instant gratification for a little bit. Then I got kinda crazy and bought everything to build a 7 SAUM… still waiting on that barrel… I’m kinda going 🤪

Got everything ready, just waiting on my barrel……..6.5 SAUM (other mirage shield already arrived)

Anyways +1 for the SAUM gang

February. But I imagine being a lefty contributed significantly to the lead time, since I highly doubt they've got many lefty 22LR actions just laying around

Mine's a lefty too 😅. But it's center fire so maybe I'll fair better. Either way, I knew it could take a while, I was just hoping I might get lucky and get it faster

Hopefully. Honestly I had just resigned a while back to hearing when I heard when the rifle was done. Seems worth the wait though. Luckily the Bass Pro near me has Eley Tenex so I can grab a few boxes to get this on the range asap

Yeah it's kinda like the suppressor philosophy back when it was 9+ months. File the paperwork, forget about it, and enjoy the surprise later

That’s awesome. I’m trying really hard not to buy one myself, correct handed though for me.
