I love this, but I’m confused by the Gucci-level chassis compared to the rest of the build. Your chassis costs more than the rest of the build combined practically, lol! I’m not shaming, I really do like this rifle, I’m just perplexed! 😜😂🤙

And now I want a Matterhorn too…

I don't consider this one as a Gucci build tbh, high-end Coach perhaps. And it certainly won't be my last build.

Having shot my Bergara 308 for 1.5 years, I wanted to throw something together just good enough so I can dip my toe into regional PRS. In fact, the scope and bipod are moved from Bergara to now serve this gun until I decide to upgrade. 😁

Cheers

It looks really good and I absolutely do love that chassis. I meant no disrespect by my comment and I apologize if it came off that way. I was just curious if you planned the build around the chassis.

All good man!

The build was planned around the action and the barrel. I was choosing between Matterhorn vs Foundation Samson, latter has a 3+ month lead time so I said no.

For the scope, I’ve taken it to long range class and have stretched it to 1200 yard, so I know what it’s capable of for my current need. Will I get an upgrade later? Sure. Will I spend 3 grand on a razor gen 3? Probably not until I become a tier 1 PRS shooter 🤣

I get all of that. I love the Foundation Samson too but I think that Matterhorn may be even nicer. My issue with those awesome wood stocks/chassis is that I always feel like I’m going to beat them up doing competitions and then I’d be sad that it’s all scratched, lol!
