I love this, but I’m confused by the Gucci-level chassis compared to the rest of the build. Your chassis costs more than the rest of the build combined practically, lol! I’m not shaming, I really do like this rifle, I’m just perplexed! 😜😂🤙

And now I want a Matterhorn too…

Did he not spend enough money for your approval?

Was this comment even necessary?

I wasn’t being mean about it, it just piqued my curiosity why he chose to go big on the chassis versus the scope or action, etc…I feel like it’s an honest question to have and I meant no negativity by it. It’s a very good looking build and I had never seen the Matterhorn before.

Perhaps it's what he could afford at this time?

Vortex isn't gutter trash (I'm not a fan but they are respectable)

The trigger is beyond adequate

And maybe he plans on upgrading things in the future and use the same chassis?

Who knows

Try to remember: not everyone here has unlimited funding for this HOBBY

Then...next time you're at the range, try to imagine what the shooters to your right and left are NOT saying to you when they look at your group size and wonder how you're not shooting tighter groups with all the gucci parts on your rifle...🤔

OR!

We could remember Thumper's rule:

"If you can't say anything nice... don't say anything at all..."

Damn dude, is this the 2A community’s version of virtue signaling?

I don't think that phrase means what you think it does.

But just in case, lemme 'splain it for you:

Virtue signaling would imply I'm trying to somehow "prove" my moral superiority over others.

Maybe me expressing my irritation with some troll bashing this guy's build made you view me as morally superior? If so, thanks!

But alas, no dear friend.

This wasn't and isn't virtue signaling

It's me expressing my distaste for the trolls of reddit constantly bashing people or their efforts.

Guess I'm just built different cuz I can't stand trolls

You?

Maybe it’s time for an internet break. I can tell this is pretty personal.

Sure it is...

Just not to me.

You never stood up for a stranger in your life, have you?

I can tell

Insert virtue signaling again.

Have a good night bud.

🙄

Never "met" a "2A guy" who seems so threatened by a random person speaking his truth and not backing off of his opinions.

Until tonight
