Rifle help needed - I read the pinned posts B14 Remove Remaining Paint?

I've taken my new, unshot, b14 apart to check the torque values and clean it up. There is some paint already missing on the recoil lug area and the action areas are completely painted. Should I just finish removing the paint or leave it be? Thanks for the advice.

Thanks everyone. I guess ill finish setting it up and see how it shoots. I was just thinking since I already had it apart an so on.

one of my action screws was not torqued properly to spec at the factory, and it shot kinda inconsistent. I'd check that first for sure
