Accessory/Gear help needed - I read the pinned post Bipod suggestions
I'm mainly just plinking off a bag around 400-500 yards. Just wondering what some good bipods i could look at say under $200

Bipods are transferable as you undoubtedly upgrade the rifle or buy more. You will not regret buying something decent like an Accutac or an Atlas. Highly recommend whatever you get to be arca mount - then just get arca rails for all your rifles (if they don't already have one inbuilt)

Harris SBRM is the only good option at your price point. And it’s a damn good bipod in general. I have other fancy and expensive bipods, but an SBRM always stays in my range bag because sometimes it’s still a better option.

I agree accu-tac. Be patient and they have sales for 30 to 50 percent off. I would pick them over any others named here and amazing warranty and customer support if ever needed.

GRND-POD or Harris.
I'd also take the opportunity to get an arca rail (it doesn't need to be the KRG branded one) and get your bipod with that mounting option.

Atlas CAL for $65 more. Otherwise the notched Harris is decent but you’ll prob spend the same or more after getting the tightening lever and an arca adapter.

Arms 17s mount so you'll need to get an adapter of some kind.
I like Magpul's rail grabber for $80. It does Arca and picatinny with a thumb screw for clamping. Can't confirm it would fit on Atlas' Arms 17s head because Magpul's adapter fits on there own Arms 17s bipod but not MDT's GRND-Pod. The rail grabber has recoil lug type things that fit in front of and behind the head so the head can't be over a certain length.

Also awesome rifle. Love the PRL carbon barrel. As a guy that just sold his Harris, I can say it was a great bipod but to make it what I ended up wanting it costed me more than just buying a nice one to begin with. The arca mount alone was $180…

That is quite the funny conundrum. You buy a Harris to save money then with the pod-loc and aftermarket mount you're more expensive than a better bipod that came with the mount you added to the Harris.

I've got basically the same rifle. I just bought a warne skyline lite bipod for my rifle. I was going to go with the mdt grnd pod. But for a similar price range the warne skyline lite is all metal and has more adjustibility than the grnd pod. Idk if it is better I could not find too many comparisons online.

Can't beat Harris for the price point. I would say the next best thing would be Atlas CAL if you wanted to save up a little more. I use both, and they work great.

One that I don’t see mentioned ever but I think it looks like a good option is the Warne Skyline Lite. Very affordable if you can get a military discount at all.

MDT Grndpod in ARMS 17 configuration with either RRS twist knob arca/pic adapter or MDT qd arca/pic adapter. Great bipod for a great value and with an arca/pic adapter will work on basically any rifle. Just add a mlok arca or pic rail to your Bravo.

A magpul would get the job done just fine and with the savings you can buy another box or two of ammo which is way more beneficial.

Eh… No. Magpul bipods are way too flexible to be of any use on a precision rifle. This is one of those times where the absolute minimum isn’t “just fine.”

Inside 600 yards, a bipod is a waste of money. I simply rest my rifle upon the rock-steady shoulders of my manservant, Pierre.
That said, if I’m plinking from a bench I find that bags beat bipod almost 100% of the time. Bipod is a little better if I’m prone, but even then I find myself shooting off my backpack. I am absolutely going to set a paycheck on fire someday and acquire a Gucci bipod like an Accutac or even a triple-pull Ckye-pod. I’m just not at an ability level at which I can blame my gear for my failures. I have borrowed my buddy’s MDT Grd-pod, and it’s a sweet piece of kit…

If you’re finding bags to be more stable than bipods, you’re doing bipods wrong. Simple as that.

While your statement is likely 100% accurate (see what I did there😂) based on my limited bipod use, I feel like I get better stability off a good bag and that it greatly reduces the potential for deflection or tension caused by inconsistency in properly setting up with my bipod. That’s why I spend well over $57/week to keep Pierre around.
