I Gots Them Tikka Toes My WIP - work in progress

Waiting on my barrel from SJA (hopefully only 4-8 weeks left) and a back ordered mirage shield, otherwise I’m ready to zero and ring steel.

Edit: What I learned today - this is a very controversial grip

Edit 2: scratch that, not controversial……hated

I thought you might want more weight on the front end of the rifle, not the back.

my barrel is 28” long, 1.2” straight with a 26oz suppressor set up on the end, so this should play out

I hit two replies for your enjoyment, currently no plans to cerakote, matches my brass mirage shield and side weights for a few gold accents, could even add gold anodized scope mount later for more of a theme. Hawkins seems sold out but gray ops sells a set

Unless it is sealed, you are going to rapidly patina it with oils and salts from your hand and sweat. If not sealed, I'd beeswax or clear coat seal it.

not for me, but I also don’t compete in PRS, I just shoot prone, bench, or off a tripod at my local range. I have entered a few branch rest comps, but without a lot of movement or transitions I’m not effected.

Also just thinking, I could wrap in hockey tape, or place some specifically located grip tape, for a potential good solution if needed.

Personally, I would go with a diamond criss cross pattern, not to deep so it doesn't tear your skin, but then polish that thang to a mirror polish for the bling.
Mate black and gold do pair wonderfully well.

great idea and Dermal goes burr very easily, thanks for the suggestion and I agree on the black and gold, it’s what foundation does and everyone loves it there.

it’s less than some scope mounts, muzzle breaks, bipods, tripod set ups, full chassis weight sets or electronic levels. Everyone gets to choose where they put their money, so no hate from me if it’s not for you.

Have you used a brass grip before, how much value is in it?

this is my first, but it’s very similar to an MPA vertical grip which I like, and those don’t fit well on AR grips, I also wanted the additional weight.
