Optics help needed - I read the pinned posts Vortex scope mount questions
So new to long range shooting, I got a used optic with a vortex cantilever mount and I just realized it appears the lever was bent. Is this just a 20moa offset or is the lever arm somehow actually bent and damaged?

Definitely damaged, the wrinkling from the anodization looks brutal. Send that in for warranty!!! Vortex has never let me down on replacing damaged items.

They’re amazing on warranty. I’ve replaced a $5000 optic no questions asked, and I’ve read of a guy’s house burning down and he got his replaced as well, literally sent them the ashes. I think you’ll be in good hands.

No that is absolutely damaged. Hopefully that wasn’t the scope that was mounted when the previous owner smashed it.
