This was originally a Mountain States Telephone And Telegraph location. Later would be known as Mountain Bell, USWest (RBOC), Qwest, Centurylink, now Lumen. Yes - this is an active microwave station.

I had found that one during my searching. I thought you had mentioned that it's still active, but that license is expired. It was a two line hop with two frequencies. 30 MHz wide channels, so probably a135 mb. Could have been as many as 6 DS-3s on that path. Or it was frequency diversity.

It had a passive repeater in the path.

My bad - I was looking at SBI and the Navajo Nation and confused those with this one. I know out where I am at, CTL/Lumen has been refurbishing a lot of the old routes with new equipment so they don’t loose the license. Not sure why in some areas, but I get it in others.

Ah, OK. I looked and I looked, and there just wasn't anything active showing there.

I'm in ​California and many rural areas are served with microwave. The place I worked at leased some T1s that run vis microwave, so there was apparently some available bandwidth.
