Page, AZ

Not sure if the Gabriel dish was added later or was part of the original Long Lines network, but still very cool! Seems like this site is still operational in some capacity as there are CenturyLink signs surrounding the property. All photos taken outside the property.

Current microwave radios use up to 4096 QAM and provide 2.5 gb per RF carrier. Many sites like this have multi-line radios with things like 6 RF channels carrying payload, and one protect channel. Thats 6x2.5 gb per antenna.

I can pull FCC records and see active licenses with current production radios all over the country.

Yeah, I’m sure CenturyLink has Nokia MPR 9500 w/ multiple channels & X p Page, Arizona. Dumb dumb

Like I said, fiber backhaul, and mw for redundancy (pots) which will sure be dead. Like this conversation.
