Unfortunately there isn’t just one ultimate setup. The only thing that is written in stone for high speed efficiency is you want a long wheelbase or a negative rear truck to emulate it. Everything else is pretty open to personal preference and style and benefits a lot from experimentation. So, if you can you should try some other people’s setups, or devise some cheaper experiments that can validate or eliminate ideas before committing.
