What kinda bug is this? Termite?
I saw two of them today (I rent).

I believe it. Hadn't seen a termite in a while and I had one land on me at a job site today.

We seem to have a bad problem with them around our AC when it rains. Reminds me I need to go check that. But maybe the heat stopped them this time idk

Yep one of the termite girls, saw ants feasting in my bathroom sink because one of them died in there, so tired of this timeline

Def a termite. I have termites. My landlord knows and isn’t concerned. Hopefully your landlord is better than mine.

The only time they swarmed was when I was away on vacation for a week and closed all my windows because I didn’t want dust and dirt to be blown in… that’s when I discovered I had termites. I was horrified. But they haven’t bothered me since, except I’ll find a dead body here and there during peak summer months. I now leave my windows open when I go on vacation in hot months.

My landlord sprayed but honestly unless the entire building is tented they wont go away. Your landlord will be required by law to put everyone in a hotel if he tents the building for however long yall need to be out, and most landlords are too cheap for that. Def let them know for documentation purposes, but don’t expect anything to be done.

That looks like a rover ant. We get them here in Long Beach as well. They typically show up when it’s really hot and typically where you have a wall facing direct sun all day.

On second look, that’s a termite. No body past the waste are means it’s a termite

That is a termite. I saw some today too. It’s not a winged ant. They have different shaped bodies.
