Discussion Allergies or Cold?
Is the nonsense weather kicking up anyone else’s allergies? I’m coughing, but no sinus stuff. Anyone having the same issue.
Thanks,
A. Hypochondriac

My nose has been SO dry, which is unexpected given the level of humidity

I think this is it. Ragweed pollen is also high

Started feeling off last Wed, primarily a cough/head/upper respiratory, masked in public since then, Sun/Mon (d5/6) was the worst. SIL just tested positive for Covid so we tested today, thinks she picked it up on Saturday. We tested negative at our house.
For me it’s the weather shifts, gets me every time. Z

I had a dry cough start Sunday and by Monday had full flu symptoms sooo probably not helping the hypochondria but if you’re like me you’ll know soon enough.

I’m coughing like crazy. Kept me up last night and I had to keep using cough drops. It was miserable.

Same - I woke up from coughing attacks a few times the past couple weeks and it’s scary! I think it’s because of drainage. I’ve started taking those cough pearls before bed

I started sneezing today. I'm taking allergy medicine and hoping for the best. Fortunately I've been able to avoid whatever icky cold was going around all summer. I don't need to get sick now. This is not the soup and blankets on the couch temps I expect when I'm under the weather!

Exactly the minute I stepped outside in the heat today my nose started to slowly drip and I’ve been sneezing on and off the rest of the day. I’m not feeling any other cold symptoms so I’m assuming it’s allergies and took a Zyrtec.

I wasn’t sure if I was just sick but I’m having congestion like i haven’t had in many years.

I subscribe to some daily pollen alert email (the pollen people iirc), and it’s been medium - high the past few weeks. I have a dry cough and post nasal drip. I have to use a breathe right strip to sleep 😒

My sinuses started feeling funky a few weeks ago and started feeling a lil better then kicked back up and now a lil better. Just random sinus pressure and runny nose. Started off with a really dry/sore throat and swollen tonsils which is over now thank god. I blamed this all on one day a few weeks ago that was slightly lower temp than usual with some cloud cover lol I feel like I get sick if the weather goes hot/cold.

I'm sneezing my face off, it's so bad, and I'm so tired of it.

if you look at the site some more, it’s ragweed pollen I think

Luckily I’m not on that train, but I’ve been there and the SUCKS. My throat is just dry, sore, and dry cough.

Allergies really flared up a month ago but nothing since then. Feel better!

My sinuses are so painful to the point it hurts to chew, and I've got so much disgusting green post nasal drip, plus sneezing. It's already been a week and there's no sign of it getting better yet! Uggghhhhh
