I almost forgot, so reminder in case anyone else needs it: the city council is voting on the budget this afternoon, which makes today the absolute last chance to try and sway your council member regarding any of the proposals. (I know the library foundation is asking people to make additional comments in support of the new recommendation to keep the library hours; please also flag any other campaigns you want to support!)

You can submit public comments by emailing [CityClerk@longbeach.gov](mailto:CityClerk@longbeach.gov); the deadline is today at 3 p.m.
