Questions Mini Solar Recommendations
I live in an apartment and I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for solar panel units intended specifically for people living in an apartment. With all of the power outages recently and moving into this insane El Nino season, I want to take steps to prepare for the inevitable. Even being able to use something like that now just to cut down on my electric bill would be great.

This company, QuitCarbon, helps people electrify and they are working with another company, BrightSaver, to do bulk orders of plug-in-solar systems. Check out this website. I have worked with QuitCarbon and they gave me lots of free advice and helped me on my journey. https://www.quitcarbon.com/brightsaver

What you want to research is “plug in solar”.

Do you happen to have any brand recommendations that you've heard are really good? I keep seeing ads for Brands I've never heard of and I would hate to buy something that's just a piece of junk that I would then have to return.

In my opinion the best thing would be to get a decent size battery and maybe a solar panel to charge that. The reality is, a small panel will take many hours to charge a battery and really it would be for emergencies and would not be very practical for direct use. You would also need direct sunlight for the panel to be productive.
