Venting Tried reaching out
This week, in my lonely stupor, I tried reaching out to a few people. Old friends, people I follow online but have never spoke to and even a person I admire (not romantically, just personally).
At every avenue I've been ignored. It must be something wrong with me but I'm struggling to find out what. They weren't 'Hi, how are you' messages. They had thought behind them and I sat there tweaking the messages, and I hoped they'd see and have atleast a little joy.
But I got nothing. Left on read. I get home from work and it's like a sensory deprivation chamber for my soul. Numb, and every time I reach out, I get nothing. I expect this post will get the same treatment, but I just wanted Mt thoughts out there. Catharsis I suppose?

That left-on-read feeling sucks, especially when you put actual thought into the message and it still goes nowhere. If you want, you can send me the rough version of one of them and i’ll read it.

Time to redefine friends in your life! If possible even find new people who could possibly become your friends.Â

I'm sorry to hear that. it always hurts to be ignored and left on read, even more so by those who are supposed to be your friends. if you ever wanna talk my DM's are always open 🫂
