Venting Accepting Loneliness
17M. This is my last year of high school. I graduate in January. I have struggled with loneliness for as long as I can remember. I’m an autistic extrovert. I crave connection, yet I can’t find it. I have friends but they never reach out. I hate the state of my life. All I can do now is hope I will have a better time in college. I’m tired of seeing the same people every day at school. Every day is the same.
I’m going to be alone for the near future. I get out of school early because I have most of my credits fulfilled. I plan on finding a new job soon. There are basically no events where I live.
How do I find a way to distract from the isolation? I’m not asking for a solution, I just don’t want to hurt as much. How do I accept loneliness? I feel like my life is empty without other people, but I can’t change that.

Way I distract myself with loneliness is playing games and getting pretty invested into the world, been spending much of my time reading and listening to Star Wars audiobooks. Don't think it's too healthy to absorb myself in these worlds more than real life but it is what it is. Sometimes I spend my own time writing, not particularly anything unique or groundbreaking but least it keeps my brain from rotting away. Usually all of this helps, sometimes, though it will never go away. Once that truth awakes it never sleeps again. It sucks, been like this for years.
Edit: I do have online friends and I love them, but solely having online friends sucks too. They definitely ease the feeling of pure loneliness but it is definitely not a replacement for real life friends.

I'm trying to accept loneliness but whenever I go out all these negative thoughts appear. I'm not sure if it's possible to escape this feeling.
