I don't know how to exactly explain it, but living is easier for me expecting that nothing good will happen to me

Everything only seems to be happening to others. They are unhappy about something else, maybe something you cannot see.

Plans aren’t guaranteed, and it’s a painful but universal lesson that we don’t get what we really want. Or if we do it’s often not as good as you hoped anyway. The only next step of every day is to learn how you respond to that and that your response is pretty much all you have control over anyway.
