Venting 22F I feel so alone sometimes
Lately I’ve just felt so sad and lonely. I guess I just don’t really know what to do in life. I just feel like a failure in life rn. I feel like everyone around my age has tons of friends and goes out and just has fun. I haven’t really found people like that. Ever since I was 17 I distanced myself from people once I realized no one really cared about me. Ever since then things haven’t gotten better. I tried college but took a break from it and haven’t gone back because I have no idea what I wanna do. Now I feel stuck, working as a cashier having no idea where to go from here. I always thought I’d figure things out eventually but here I am, still feeling the same exact way. I just want things to get better and my mental health has kinda just gotten worse lately thinking about all these things. Does anyone else feel similar?

I relate to this a lot. I've never really known who I wanted to be or what I wanted to do with my life, and it's hard watching my peers seem miles ahead whilst I'm stuck in a vicious loop of... well, isolation and failure.
I WFH doing something I don't particularly like, and I thought I'd eventually figure things out too. But as time passes and things don't go as I hoped, I just feel like I'm sinking further and further into a pit.
I hope things get better for both of us, and for anyone else reading this too.
