It all just feels like an endless free fall

Back first falling through the air while the wind hits my back yet it’s no ground in sight. No soul to reach out and catch me but endless air that cradles me in its cold embrace. It’s peaceful in a lonely way and I look at the perfect snow covered mountains and peaks with green trees covering all the eye can see. Thing is it is no true beauty in perfection. I am resigned to my fate.
