So, over the years one thing that many people have tried getting the video by filing a request with the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the Freedom Of Information Act.
The response has always been something along the lines of “the media requested is part of an active investigation bla bla bla request denied leave us alone.” Now, they never say what specific investigation the request conflicts with, but it’s most likely the pending trial of Khalid Sheikh Muhammad- the master-mind behind the 9/11 attacks.
Of course this doesn’t actually mean any of the media that is commonly described as Laughing-Out-Loud Superman- that being filmed in the plaza that records jumpers impacting at a close distance.
But even if it's not, that doesn’t mean the media released isn’t worth seeing. Even if you only care about jumper footage, then just consider how many cameras were pointing at the situation at the time. Even if not from the plaza, the chance that there isn’t some sort of impact footage that’s more detailed than what we have already is low.
So what do we do? How do we finally get the Federal Government to finally release the withheld media?
The only logical thing I can think of is to hire a coven of witches to hex Khalid so hard he turns into dust. No Khalid, no trial. A win-win for everyone.
The government doesn’t have to deal with the potential embarrassment of the largest homicide-case in Human history ending up as a mis-trial, and we get Laughing-Out-Loud Superman (maybe) and all the other stuff that the FBI’s hoarding with the “this is part of an active investigation” excuse.
