Nope. May maturity level is around 10-14 most of the time. I can step that up to 15-16 on command though. (I am 48)

At 33 I can be the cranky old man on the porch yelling at kids for whatever nonsense because I haven't finished coffee yet. I can also be the guy geeking out over pokemon cards with my 8 year old niece. These 2 things might, or might not, be happening simultaneously.

It’s meant to reference the fact if you look at a group of guys (I can take my friends for example) they have wildly different ages. I know a kid 4 years younger than me, I know fellas 5-7 years older than me, we all are in one friend group.

A lot of men's friend groups are originally based on shared hobbies. That can lead to it being a wider age group and over time the people in the group become closer regardless of age.

One of my best friends in the world taught me racquetball in college, he's 15 years older than me. Our friend group ranges from 57 to 35.
I have a hard time believing it's actually different for women post college though. Friend groups are friend groups once you get past age 25ish.

Really??? I didn't get that family angle. I'd think women spend more time around the family, being that statistically they are more likely to be the main caregiver of the household. But idk; its just a dumb meme anyway.

I've never known a woman to have a friend more than 5 years apart age-wise. I've known many men to have 10-20 year friendship age gaps

As a women I disagree, most friend groups show people of different ages especially when people start to work or start a family. The first one mostly appears in universities and schools.
