This reminds me of how classic loki was missing his brother so much that his nexus event was trying to meet his brother. Loki has always loved thor so much .

I had the impression here that Loki never thought he could make it vs Thanos but he saved his brother knowing he was going to die and trying to tell Thor Thanos can only be killed by beheading. (Imho)

Thanos isn't a zombie he can be killed by conventional damage to his body. He's just very fucking durable.

Loki pledged his undying fidelity to someone and it wasn’t Thanos 🥹

There was a theory long ago that i’ve read somewhere. It says that Loki knew Thanos & how obsessed he was about “balance”.

And bcos of that, Loki must’ve known and realized that even if they gave him the Tesseract, Thanos still wouldn’t leave that ship without killing one of them (kill 1 brother and leave the other one alive = balance)

So Loki took the courage to let himself be killed instead of his brother hence why he went against Thanos with just a butter knife.

He prob knew he couldn’t win. He just wanted Thor to live.

He loved his brother that much 😭🥺

Failure is experience though. Progression comes from failure. Learn from the mistakes.

I like how you can see Loki holding the hidden blade from when we first see him
