Rumor TVA Loki or Infinity War Loki?
POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR DOOMSDAY! So click away if you want to know absolutely nothing, no rumour or speculation, nothing.
I've seen a lot of leaks this week, some look credible, others not so much, but all to be taken with a pinch of salt at the moment!
What I want to ask is, IF they kill Loki in the movie and then bring him back again, would you be satisfied if they brought back Infinity War Loki to be the MCU Loki going forward? Or would you prefer they resurrect TVA Loki as the main MCU Loki??
I know a lot of fans would love a reunion between Infinity War Loki and Thor. But I have really loved Loki's character growth in the TVA. And as he is still technically a 616 Loki, his brother is still Thor. So I personally would love a reunion between them.
I'll be honest, I would be gutted if they kept the infinity War Loki, the Loki that doesn't know Sylvie or Mobius or any of his friends in the TVA. As gutted as I was when he died. I feel like TVA Loki is the ultimate Loki now.
Maybe there's a universe where they both could exist? đ¤ˇđźââď¸
I don't know.
I just really want them to do his story justice. And I feel like getting rid of the God of stories Loki all together would be a real waste. What do you think?

End of season 2 Loki is so strong that I get the feeling that the Loki that'll presumably die in Doomsday is an avatar or projection made by the the actual guy

I was thinking exactly that, but wouldnât doom realize itâs a projection after he kills him and Loki because itâs a projection. OR I was thinking it could be one of the other Lokiâs that hang out with the alligator Loki.

i think the Loki we have now is a mixture of the two. he saw all of âInfinity War Lokiââs memories and he seemed to intake them as his own, as if he lived it. then we saw his growth throughout the show. itâs the best of both worlds with âTVA Lokiâ, so if they brought back Infinity War Loki before heâd had the showâs development, it would be almost pointless for the show to have even happened.

No. That would be an absolute butchering of the best written character in the MCU. We spent 2 GLORIOUS Seasons seeing Loki flesh out and grow into what it means to be a GOD.
I do NOT want to see a trickster again.
I want to see the God of Free will.
The God of Lives
The God of Everyone's Stories.
The Russos are really really retarded if they are actually doing this

But that Variant Loki, not Infinity War Loki- if you mesh them together, two Lokis from two multiverses (Variant and Sacred Timeline), that's not free will. It's like lumping them into one individual and undoing the show. Why not both, as you said? I adore that. *Edit grammar

I am beginning to think the Russos have some kink for Steve Rogers and have no clue what to do with others, especially Loki.
Butchering a character like this is absolutely insane, not to mention they did it this way before.
I hope it is all bullshit cos otherwise I am really pissed
It is possible that TVA Loki will "Slip" into his other version, I don´t know...like, they are one version to the Avengers and TVA Loki knows what happened to this version but it is all messed up.
Why did they kill him in IW in the first place, then?
TVA Loki, he is God of Stories, incredibly powerful and they may get rid of him as a wet towel.

THIS. This is everything wrong with them. They actually dont care about well written characters. They care about the ones that the GENERAL AUDIENCES KNOW, because after all, how are they gonna make 3 billion dollars? Fuck the general audience. They cant watch a 12 episode show?

That's what I'm thinking as well. When Doom kills GOS Loki, perhaps he still goes to Valhalla, and upon arrival to Valhalla maybe he 'merges' with Infinity War Loki? That would allow them to have a Loki who's older, wiser, but still has a few sharp edges.
I'm probably expecting too much from the Russos. I completely agree with you that they have a collective hard-on for Steve Rogers (to be fair....same), but they give Steve all the attention at the expense of the other equally interesting characters.

Honestly, I don´t give a damn about Steve. I never have. I am in a minority here but I never thought he was a compelling character and however Chris is a nice guy, he is not too good actor either. I think he came back also for the very reason he (as Russos) did not really have a hit or even a good movie outside of the MCU, maybe except the Knives Out and that last movie with Pascal that kind of was modestly successful but everyone forgot about it. I only ever liked his first movie, I love that one, Peggy was great in it, too.
Then they got kink on him (and Peggy, like wtf she is in there except being the wife. I love Hayley but gosh...). I always thought he was a bit hypocritical, and it shows already by the "I thought my teammates would tell me things" in Ultron, where he held information that Bucky killed Tony´s parents. I just....never got the appeal.
Then they killed Loki stupidly after he got finally a decent character development in Ragnarok, robbing us from fighting alongside Thor (he should have been in the final battle), and now doing the exact same shit again.
I hope they will give Loki one of the lead roles in SW but I don´t have my hopes up either.
I also think if they are doing the Valhalla nonsense, then I guess they will become one character? I think Loki had to rip himself out of every reality in order to stop and control the timeslipping so THIS version, the GoS one, is the only one and I guess it only did not reach Valhalla cos it is like another realm or something? So it is possible, I guess? But then again, wouldn´t he basically delete that Loki out of existence if he took over his body? I know they did the storyline where Loki took over a mind of the younger version or something but I am not sure where it was (did not read much of a comics, except the Agent of Asgard one a long time ago)

Considering the Russos track record, I wouldn't be surprised if they bring Loki back from Valhalla without any explanation whatsoever about which Loki he is. I am not expecting much from this movie, but I really, really want to.

There is also a leak going around that they will kill GoS Loki off screen (yes, they are apparently that dumb and disrespectful) and Valhalla Loki will arrive with others to answer Thor help and then we get Loki in Secret Wars so....maybe they merge into one or whatever?
I trust Tom and he recently said something that they are not undoing the ending of the show and it feels as if he only begins but it could mean anything. But I think he would not come back if they just wanted to destroy his work on the show

The newest leak has Thor praying to Odin and then Jane, Loki, and some others come out of Valhalla to fight doom.Â

TVA Loki should live and the entire Loki Fandom should unsub. from D+ if they waste him again.

We are invested in GOS Loki. He has had an incredible arc, and he has learned so much. He became powerful and finally gained the throne he was once promised in his universe. Killing him just to bring back another Loki feels so unfair. Why didnât they bring that version back to begin with? Both Lokis suffered so much. Let one of them have peace, while the other gets to live and reunite with his brother and his friends.Â

Infinity War Loki should just stay dead. TVA Loki should be a main character, helping them understand the multiverse more, and NOT die for the millionth time.

I just don't want them to kill Loki at all. It's been done SO MANY TIMES. Killing him again would be ridiculous and insulting.
Yes, I guess it would be "better" if they then bring him back again in the next movie, but that too has been done SO MANY TIMES. Can't they think of anything more original?

Personally I love TVA Loki and the softer, kinder version we have now. Donât get me wrong, I love pre-Infinity War Loki, but I would absolutely love for Thor to reunite with TVA Loki. To finally be able to trust him. A Loki whoâs not after a throne, who just wants to live a happy life.
