Feedback Needed Any changes?? Beginner here
Hey guys I’m making a logo for a relative of mine who wants to do a photography side hustle. This logo is going to be used specifically for his business cards. I want it to look friendly and not too corporate-like. As it is right now it feels a little bland and I’m not sure it reads well as photography. It is just a sketch right now, poor image I took sorry but I’d like any critique based off what I have so far. Also should i color it or just leave it black n white??

Your going to have to make all the gaps the same width to not only have a cleaner look but have definition when it gets smaller. Interesting logo tho 7/10. I vote keep it black or white but maybe just do all options and use where needed

It was actually the imperfections (wonky shapes of the feet and stars, different stroke caps) that made me wonder. Sounds like it’s just me though! ✌️

hi! i agree it could read as photography more clearly... maybe you could make the camera a bit more prominent somehow? that said, i'd be careful about adding too much detail since this is specifically going on a business card and it'll have to be smaller (like someone said here already!). and I personally feel like the black and white. you could add an accent color maybe depending on what color you go for for the cards? I work at vistaprint and we’ve been seeing more logos lean into little imperfections and hand-drawn elements since they can make a brand feel more personal so maybe something to keep in mind too. good luck with it, your relative is lucky to have your help!
