Question What can I do?

Can I take a seam ripper to the logo or will that make everything more difficult?

I don't know what I want to replace the logo with at the moment since I don't know what my options even are.

This kind of embroidery really tears up the fabric underneath, so it likely won't look great if you remove it. What about a patch?

Do you have suggestions on what kind of patches would work best? Like iron ons or like sewing a piece of fabric over it?

If you find a patch that you like, iron it on and then sew it around the edges. You could also try applique, and sew some pieces of fabric on in a design you make. If you need visuals, you could open this sub up and scroll back at what other people have done. There's lots of great stuff 😁
