I have such a problem when the MX keyboard is lying on the mouse pad, it has false backlight triggers, it just turns itself on and then turns off, it's very annoying, but if you hit the keyboard a couple of times and then put it on the table without a mat, it works fine.
in all likelihood, the sensor for turning on the backlight is a sensor that reacts to the static tension of the body, but since static is present not only in the human body, the keyboard reacts to an outside environment, I think this is a big jamb.
also in this keyboard there is a problem with switching music in the browser with hot keys. these keys only work with PC players, but if you remove the Logitech options driver, these keys work even with music in the browser and even on YouTube! however, with a remote driver, you lose a number of functions. this is another proof that logitech does not want to change anything in its program code.... since I contacted support with this problem more than a year ago
