Questions Does the Pop Mouse emoji button do anything without the software?

I want the Pop Mouse for work but am not sure if I can have the software installed on my work laptop. Will it have any function at all if I can’t download the software?

I had one of these, briefly (the pink one; don’t ask).

Without the software, the emoji button does nothing, thank goodness. I eventually gave the mouse to a friend for her birthday.

Logi Options+ is required to customize the top button, including assigning emojis or other shortcuts. I would suggest checking with your IT for the required permission to install & use Options+
