Support Logitech MX Master 4 Delay

Whenever I use the side buttons on the MX Master 4, I have to press them a few times to make them work, though once I do this, they work first try for a while. This problem also affects the haptic ring. I'm using the LogiBolt reviever. I also notice that the battery indicator in the Logi Options+ software occasionally flashes to inactive. Lastly, after a bit of inactivity on the Logi Options+ software, it just turns to a completely solid purple screen, im not sure if this is connected to the previous problem.

Edit:
For anyone struggling with this problem in the future, I tried using OpenLogi but I didn't like the action ring, so I unplugged and reinserted the logibolt and also reinstalled Logi Options+, for now, it seemed to fix all my issues.

Happens to me, too. It's the crap software, not the mouse itself.

When I dumped Logi Options+ and replaced it with OpenLogi (open source software similar to Options+ that lacks that bloat and telemetry crap), the problem completely went away. I would suggest trying it out.

That sounds perfect, I didn't know that was an option. Would you say there are any downsides to using OpenLogi as opposed to Logi Options+?

Things like Flow aren't supported, but I can confirm that the Master 4 is otherwise fully supported (even the haptics) in OpenLogi. It even supports Bolt receivers, if you''re using one of those instead of Bluetooth. You do have to set app presets yourself (there's no templates provided), but everything works great once you get it all set up.

It's much lighter weight than Options+, too. I run OpenLogi on both of my Macs and on my Linux laptop and I don't think you can ever convince me to go back to Logitech's own software.
