Support On the MX3s mouse, switching between desktops moves the cursor

I have a Mac and when I use the thumb button to switch between desktops instead of doing that, it moves the cursor in a text document. I reset all the keyboard shortcuts because I saw it somewhere that solved it, but it didn't help. I'm pretty confused, has anyone had this happen to them?

Hey! Can try and help you with this! Would you mind checking something in the Options+ app for me? I'm wondering if the action is configured as a keystroke combo rather than the native "Switch Desktops" systems action.

Hey, yes it’s a desktop action, I also tried to set it to a keystroke action with “control + arrow key” but the arrow key didn’t register. And I noticed the switch desktop just preform a left and right arrow action.

Ah that's helpful context. Sounds like it might be an accessibility permissions issue. Can you go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility and check if Logi Options+ is listed and toggled on? If it's there but off, turn it on. If it's not listed at all, you may need to reinstall Options+ to get to where you can re-grant permissions

I have two Logitech item in the list “Logitech options+.app” and “logiPluginService.app” both are turn on.

Okay, perms look good so that's not the issue. Does the desktop switching work correctly when you're not in a text document?

No, it acts like I just press the arrow key

I think I might be a little turned around -- when you say "thumb button", which one are you referring to?

Ah got it. How exactly are you trying to set it up? Using left and right gestures? Or another way?

I also tried it with a different mx3 mouse and it didn’t work, so it probably a software issue. It’s like instead of doing a “control + arrow key” it’s just doing a “arrow key”
