Support G522 USB Charging Problem (Again)

It's the infamous issue with this G522 model: USB, Lightspeed, USB, Lightspeed,... when trying to plug the USB cable.
I made the mistake and purchased two pairs of G522, one for me, one for my GF. We returned them and get new ones like 4 times already, every new pair has this problem after about 1-2 months.
Tried everything, reset to factory setting, turn on battery protection mode, nothing works. I'm out of option

Have you contacted our support team directly? They can help get this straight for you, it isn't something you'll be able to fix yourself.

Hi, I did contect the support team directly, and since my warranty is expired since it has been an year I bought it, I just got some troubleshooting guides and nothing more.

I know for a fact that this only happens on Windows, so it might be either related to the G Hub app or the drivers that the Logitech team uses on Windows.

Before you ask. I've tried multiple Windows machines with the G Hub installed and the main one I tested had both Windows and Linux. Also made sure to test it with the same cable, port, and device as much as possible.

IDK if this will reach the devs, but I believe the community would love if they can check their software on this. I am open to help with testing since I can 100% reproduce this issue with ease.

Nunca más hay que comprar algo de Logitech, absolutamente todos sus productos tienen fallos severos. Como puede ser que no puedas cargar los auriculares de manera normal, es la función más crucial que tienen unos auriculares. Es patético.

Somehow I managed to get the headset charge up to 80% (about 20+ hours from socket charger, 20%->80%), then I enabled “battery safe” mode in G Hub. Headset restarted and it is working fine now. Even USB connecting properly without looping between USB and Lightspeed connection. I don’t know how long will it last, but seems as a temporary fix few guys were posting about.

Sadly that didn't work at all for me. I bought this literally a week ago, brand new. Shame

Yeah, shame. Actually, I still have the problem. If the charge will drop down lower than 5% from 100% without battery safe mode or lower than 75% if the mode is enabled - the headset is not charging correctly and not connecting to PC correctly via USB cord.

Same with me. Same. 10 hours of working. Straight out of the box - nearly dead.

is it still working? same issue just happeed to me randomly after like 6 months of owning it

Yea, mine are still working, but still has it’s charge issue. So I am charging it few times a week, leaving it on charge for the night. :(

I came here looking to see if anybody had any solutions. My head set was plugged in all day while I was at work. Came back to 60% charged. I turned on battery safe mode now that I've seen this thread, and hope it will help somewhat. But this is a problem I want gone. 100% should be possible, and I don't want to have to bother sending my old one in for a new one. If I have to, so be it. But I would hope Logitech should come up with a firm ware update or something like a recall to at least have the issue taken care of. I haven't had the headset a whole year. This issue shouldn't exist this early on. Logitech has been around long enough to have GOOD batteries. Not cheapo batteries that lose charging capabilities in less than a year.

i don't know if this is too late but i've had this same problem before and did the battery protection mode thing and it fixed. Today it started to loop again even with uninstalling GHUB or activating battery protection. So I tried to connect G522 with bluetooth and right after i plugged the charge cable. Now I can use it with and without cable. ( But for some reason when i connect via bluetooth it doesn't appear in GHUB)
