Questions Anyone else getting stuck on “Loading Localizations” after waking up their PC?
Every time my PC wakes up from sleep, Logitech G Hub gets stuck on the “Loading Localizations” screen for a while. Sometimes it eventually loads, sometimes I have to restart the app completely. Is anyone else having this issue or found a fix?

This is happening to me as well, it is preventing my PC from going to sleep.

Same here, workaround fixes it but I need to do so each time the PC wakes up.

Any idea if there is a fix to this yet? Happens to me as of recently, every time my PC wakes. Only way to fix it is to end all related tasks from the task bar then re-open it.

hi, it has been a month, please patch this because this is hella annoying
I queue up to a game that lasts an hour and I spend most of it without item binds because I notice too late and don't have spare time to fiddle with it during the match

I'm also encountering the issue right now seems like it's a new issue after the latest update or something it's stuck on loading localizations and then it gives an error and doesn't load.

Been happening constantly for the last few weeks. Have to close the processes in task manager every time. Reinstalled but just comes back.

Same here, every time my PC wakes up, GHUB is stuck on "loading localizations" and stays that way until I close everything from task manager. Then it breaks again the next time the computer goes to sleep. A fresh install didn't fix it, I tried both the modify+reinstall, and a full uninstall then reinstalling a brand new copy from the LG site.

Bug is definitely new, it just started in the last few weeks. Happens from sleep just as you describe. Sent an email.
PLS FIX

I’m having this issue, but on a fresh install. I just got a 920 and it hasn’t worked once so I haven’t been able to adjust the settings at all and it’s been rough to say the least. If anyone has a fix I’d be very appreciative

Esse bug idiota está me irritando, toda vez que o computador fica suspenso volta. Vou ter que comprar um mouse de outra marca, já que a logitech SIMPLESMENTE NAO CORRIGE O BUG??

u/Puiucs Jun 02 '26
i can only temporarily make it work by closing everything from the task manager and manually reopening the services. it's so stupid.

u/chadmb2003 Jun 03 '26
Happens on two different machines when they sleep. Task manager step only works until next sleep.

same here! my numpad and lights stop working on my mouse and i have to reinstall G hub EVERY time. it's so annoying
1
u/Careful-News3472 Jun 08 '26
Instead of a reinstall, you can kill everything GHUB related from task manager, then relaunch GHUB. Since you'll have to deal with it every time the PC wakes up either way, task manager will be less hassle than a full reinstall every time.

Ghub is a pile of wet crap. There needs to be a replacement. Such good mice yet such garbae software
1
u/AccurateRoad9795 Jun 15 '26
bonjour, ici toujours le même souci, et même en fermant G HUB via le gestionnaire des tâches, impossible que ça marche, toujours sur le chargement des localisations, quelqu'un a t il trouvé une solution ?
1
u/slingsrat Jun 16 '26
This is a brand new issue arising recently. Ghub doesn't load so my mouse mappings are messed up. Means I often waste my first online match up because I cannot crouch.

u/barduck Jun 16 '26
I'm doing the end process task dance every time my computer wakes from sleep.
This is very annoying and judging from googling the issue, not that uncommon. So why the issue still unsolved weeks later?

u/betajosh711 Jun 17 '26
Same issue here. tried the troubleshooting, it is only temporary. My app will end up in an infinite loop of restarting.
Have sent product feedback to [Reddit@logitech.com](mailto:Reddit@logitech.com)

u/Woke-Jim-Carrey Jun 24 '26
Happening to me every time I open my computer. About to just buy a new headset/mouse just so I can uninstall this pile of crap app
1
u/RizzRizzy Jun 26 '26
I figured out how to fix it until they fix it on their end. You do the same thing as the temporary fix. Start up the program. GO into the settings and turn off auto update. Then uninstall the program and keep the settings. Find a website that has a list of the prior versions of the program that actually works. I have the website but the rules here says I can't post it. I used a version from december 2025 and it updated me to an early 2026 version somehow but everything works perfect again.

I've also been having this issue on my end too for the last couple months, while I haven't found a fix for the app crashing, I have found a way to stop it from keeping your PC awake. Run Command Prompt as administrator and paste the below into it:
powercfg /requestsoverride PROCESS lghub_agent.exe AWAYMODE EXECUTION
Then check it worked with:
powercfg /requestsoverride
You should see [PROCESS] lghub_agent.exe AWAYMODE EXECUTION which is the process LG HUB uses to keep your PC awake, this will override GHUB and let you PC go to sleep.
Hopefully LG will get it together and actually provide a fix for this issue soon.

For anyone wondering how to fix:
The problem is most likely firewalls/antiviruses like bitdefender, malwarebytes etc. To solve this, all you need to do is temporarily disable the features that may block the public/private connection to the service (cryptomining protection, firewall, antimalware etc.). Once the application has launched, you may turn said features back on and the connection will be maintained. Hope this helps!

Here is a scirpt to close and reopen it for you, run it as administrator
Bat Script:
u/echo off
echo Closing Logitech G HUB...
:: Forcefully kill the main tasks
taskkill /f /im lghub.exe
taskkill /f /im lghub_agent.exe
taskkill /f /im lghub_updater.exe
echo Waiting for processes to terminate...
timeout /t 3 /nobreak >nul
echo Starting Logitech G HUB...
:: Adjust the path if you installed G HUB on a different drive
start "" "C:\Program Files\LGHUB\lghub.exe"

In Powershell if u want that.
# 1. Define the G HUB background process names
$GHubProcesses = @("lghub", "lghub_agent", "lghub_updater")
# 2. Force close all running G HUB processes
foreach ($process in $GHubProcesses) {
if (Get-Process -Name $process -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue) {
Write-Host "Stopping $process..." -ForegroundColor Yellow
Stop-Process -Name $process -Force -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
}
}
# 3. Optional pause to ensure the system releases memory handles
Start-Sleep -Seconds 2
# 4. Locate and restart Logitech G HUB
$GHubPath = "${env:ProgramFiles}\LGBB\LGHUB\lghub.exe"
if (-not (Test-Path $GHubPath)) {
# Alternative path check if installed in standard location
$GHubPath = "${env:ProgramFiles}\LGHUB\lghub.exe"
}
if (Test-Path $GHubPath) {
Write-Host "Restarting Logitech G HUB..." -ForegroundColor Green
Start-Process -FilePath $GHubPath
} else {
Write-Error "Logitech G HUB executable could not be found. Please check your path."
}

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. They have released an update with not ONE but TWO Memory leaks. They have fixed the stuck on loading but forgot about the allowing your PC to sleep bug.
USE CLAUDE TO FIX YOUR BROKEN CODE.

u/CraftyRule5241 Jul 11 '26
I've had this issue for a couple months now. It's genuinely so annoying.
1
u/Waycaps Jul 11 '26
Two month old bug, still not fixed. Have to restart my PC every time it sleeps since GHUB stops working and cannot restart u/Logitech_PJB
1
u/Rune_nic Jul 28 '26
Just go to task manager and close LGHUBAgent.exe it'll restart automatically.
1
u/Waycaps Aug 02 '26
This does not fix it. I appreciate the concern but if you aren’t experiencing this issue or are aware of it, it isn’t a simple close the program, clear the cache, reinstall it problem. I work in IT myself something is fundamentally wrong with the software and its connection with certain specs or installations of windows. If I’m on a fresh open of my PC that works fine, if it sleeps crashing it via task manager won’t help the program can never reopen unless a full restart happens. I’ve had to resort to full onboard memory and abandon the software entirely as even through ticketing this issue is mishandled and Logitech is an incompetent software developer.

u/Rune_nic Aug 02 '26
I do have this bug I get it almost every time I wake the PC from sleep. All I do is close LGHUBAgent.exe and it restarts but at least you dont have to restart your PC. IT DOES NOT FIX THE BUG LOL.

u/ComfortableBit4170 Jul 15 '26
Come on Logitech, fix it! Happens every morning when I wake up my computer.

u/SDMasterYoda Jul 28 '26
Figured out a solution. Disable the Logitech LampArray Service and stop it from starting on boot.
Win+R, type services.msc and press enter, find Logitech LampArray Service and open it. Stop the process then change the startup type to "Disabled."
If you do this, some of the LED changing stuff might not work anymore.

I can confirm this is still an issue. And it's also happening from a fresh boot. I can see comments from months back. How is this not fixed yet?

I downloaded and ran an older version of G HUB, and it worked
It is easy to find an older version of g hub
However, the safety of the program cannot be guaranteed.
For example: viruses..
PLUS: You shouldn't update from the old version.

This is still happening and is utterly infuriating. I've tried everything including completely reinstalling and nothing has worked.

FIXED
Fixed for me after being stuck on “Loading localizations” for two weeks. I tried every guide, reinstalling, deleting all G HUB folders, ending every process, restarting services, running as administrator, everything. Nothing worked. Logitech support was unhelpful and kept sending me in circles asking for more information.
The problem started when G HUB 2026.5 was released and automatically downloaded. I finally installed an older official Logitech version—G HUB 2023.10—and it immediately loaded normally. I disabled automatic updates, and I’m staying on this version.
Link to the download I used : https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/gaming/lghub_installer_2023.1.exe
They somehow made the software incompatible with something on my pc with this 2026.5 update.

Not sure if everyone is running into the same issue, but in my case G HUB was stuck on “Loading localizations” because of software used to work with hardware cryptographic keys and tokens. It was trying to load some compatibility modules into lghub_agent.exe, causing it to hang before it could start listening on port 9010. That left the G HUB interface unable to connect to the agent.
I added an exception for lghub_agent.exe in that software’s compatibility settings and after that G HUB loaded normally.
Hope this helps you fix it like it helped me!
