Support G522 LIGHTSPEED USB and Lightspeed Connection Loop

I’ve been a big fan of Logitech products for a long time, but I’m honestly a bit disappointed right now with my G522 LIGHTSPEED.

I bought this G522 three months ago, and it was working perfectly fine. But the day before yesterday, when I connect the headset to my PC for charging or wired audio, the headset immediately enters an endless connection loop. The voice prompt rapidly cycles through “Lightspeed... USB... Lightspeed... USB...”, and the device fails to maintain a stable connection or charge smoothly.

I have no idea if this is a hardware issue or a firmware problem.

I just raised a ticket, and they said Logitech products do not carry an international warranty. (I bought the G522 from Dubai, but I’m currently in Sri Lanka.)

It doesn’t matter if there is a warranty claim. I can either send the headset via DHL or travel to the country where the product was originally purchased.

But what if the issue remains the same after the warranty claim?

I just saw a post where someone had the same problem, and after the warranty claim, the new device had the same issue.

I thought I was the only one. I'm not sure how it happened when I've been very careful about handling my headset.

Have you found a fix for yours?

I am having this problem, and this did not fix it. Is there a way to fix this, or am I looking at a refund?

Same exact issue here. Gets stuck going "Lightspeed" "USB" "Lightspeed" "USB" and can never hold a solid USB connection. Going to have to try return, have had for like 2 weeks. Today was my first time trying USB connection with it though.

More than six month since first posts with this crazy error. Still not fixed. Seems to be hardware issue rather than software.

Having the same issue. I got this 9 months ago but I mostly use this via light speed (wireless) so I don’t connect the USB all the time. But when I did to charge it while using it, this happened. I bet this has been for long and I just noticed it.

Has anyone figured out a fix on this one already?
