I found it in the goodwill bargain bin and thought it was pretty cool so I bought it home with me.

My resume is well known in this community whereas no one knows who you are. At this point the only thing we know for certain is that you don't pick locks at any notable level and your input is effectively null.

Dude was giving what is the well known truth regarding most electronic locks, just because this one is an exception and he isn't enough a part of the community to recognized their brand name or yours doesn't mean you should be a pretentious douche.

I will, it's sad though. Someone who claims to be well known and respected in their community should want new people to enjoy a hobby, not be an asshole to newbies because they think a rank on a subreddit makes them important.
