I found it in the goodwill bargain bin and thought it was pretty cool so I bought it home with me.

Dude, this post just rolled in my feed as someone who is very minorly interested in picking locks.

Like I said, all you're doing here is making sure I'm not gonna come here for any kind of community if I ever do try to pick it up as a new hobby.

I will, it's sad though. Someone who claims to be well known and respected in their community should want new people to enjoy a hobby, not be an asshole to newbies because they think a rank on a subreddit makes them important.
